Falling behind on Fall Chores

While there are no good excuses, there are nola-gardensome wonderful reasons. In early October I spent four days in New Orleans. I roamed the streets, ate great food, listened to wonderful jazz and shopped. (I was a conference tag-along.) But my favorite day involved a visit to the New Orleans Botanical Gardens in  City Park.  Watch for a story in the near future.

A trip to New Hampshire to visit friends and see the fall foliage was another delightful delay in blog-writing (I do genh-fall-with-sam-steve-072-editt blog-writers’ block). Drives around the Manchester area showcased the state’s absolutely stunning foliage. It was also a treat to see more of New Hampshire’s historic  houses, churches and public buildings. They rival the best of other New England states, a challenging feat.

nh-fall-with-sam-steve-067After a quick trip to Pittsburgh to visit our daughter Cat, the next blog will be on fall clean-up tips.  Perhaps you can complete wITG Logo just flowerhat I have not been able to start in my own garden yet!
