On Sat., Aug. 19, The Carroll County Farmers’ Market will feature the Master Gardeners’ 14th  Annual Heirloom Tomato Festival. Hours are from 8 a.m. – 1 p.m. Visitors can taste about 40 varieties of heirloom tomatoes. Master Gardeners will provide information on how to grow tomatoes. Heirloom seeds will be available for attendees to take home and grow next year. There will also be numerous dishes made with heirloom tomatoes available for sampling. Recipes cards will be sold for a nominal fee. The event is free and open to the public
