Chainsaw and loppers are available but more are needed so please bring extras if you have them. Bruce Levine will be collecting twigs from several of the best trees for genetic analysis.

The orchard is located at 4200 Gardiner Rd., Waldorf, MD 20601. The property is owned by the Charles County Soil Conservation Service.

If you have never been to the site, contact Ron Kuipers at 240-838-9992 or email him at m_rkuipers@yahoo.com. Ron may also have space for two passengers.
